We source premium grapes from the Granite Belt to produce a select range of quality hand made Queensland wines. We are achieving some fantastic results including the Trophy for the Best White Wine at the 2005 Queensland Wine Awards.

The nose displays an intruiging blend of almond and lemon aromas. Crisp green appleand pear flavours combine to deliver a lean, lingering palate. This wine will develop toasty, complex characteristics over the coming years.

Vineyard Location and Condition
Marsanne is a French Rhone variety which produces a crisp, dry wine which has great complexity and interest of flavour and texture. The fruit for this Marsanne was sourced from Bowdens Vineyard near the township of Ballandean on the Granite Belt. The Granite Belt is situated on the Great Dividing Range 850m above sea level and 95 km inland from the coast. The winters are cold and frosty and summers warm producing a continental climate. Most of the region's rainfall comes in spring feeding the growing buds and shoots. The soil is largely composed of granite, somewhat on the acidic side and is very free draining.
