The nose shows a rich blend of blackcurrant aromas suported by hints of leather and chocolate.  On the palate flavours combine with firm tannins and cedary oak to provide length and persistence.

The wine has been matured in 100% new American oak barriques for 36 months to produce a pewerful yet elegant wine.

Vineyard Location and Condition

Witches Falls produces 'Prophecy' wines from selected parcels of fruit that we consider to be exceptional.  As a result, these wines may not be seen in every vintage.

We have produced a very small run of Clare Valley Prophecy Shiraz from a select block run by a mate of ours simply because we love Clare Shiraz, and because we believe it is one of the more underrated areas in Australia for Shiraz.
